Varicose veins are ropey, enlarged veins (blood vessels) close to the skin's surface. Any vein may become varicose, but the veins most commonly affected are those in the legs and feet. For many people, varicose veins can cause aching pain and discomfort. Varicose veins may also signal a higher risk of other disorders of the circulatory system.
Treatment: We currently treat varicose veins by first mapping the vein using a
3-D ultrasound machine. We then determine the appropriate course of treatment, which often include injections with a sodium tetradecyl sulfate solution (STS) . All of our treatments are non-surgical in nature
